Louisiana is at the bottom of a new ranking of the best states in America.
The annual list released this week by U.S. News and World Report ranked Louisiana dead last. The survey ranked the state at or near the bottom nationally in health care, education, economy, government and crime.
Alabama, Arkansas and Mississippi were all ranked just above Louisiana on the list.
