Traffic is open again in both directions on I-10 in Baton Rouge, but there may still be residual delays.
The shutdown happened around lunchtime, after an 18-wheeler caught fire, and the cab exploded into a large fireball. To fight the flames, firefighters had to attack it from both sides of the highway.
No reports of injuries, and it's not clear what led to the fire.
