A four-year-old girl in West Baton Rouge Parish is dead from a car crash in Erwinville.
The West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office says the girl was critically injured in the crash Wednesday on Highway 415 and Arbroth Road. Authorities say the girl's 26-year-old mom lost control of her car and that it went off the road and crashed into a tree.
Both were taken to the hospital, where the girl was pronounced dead.
The two were not wearing seatbelts at the time. Impairment is not suspected in the accident.
