Unlike dozens of Democrats and a few Republicans, Cedric Richmond, who represents Baton Rouge and New Orleans in Congress, will attend Friday's Presidential Inauguration.
Richmond is chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus, and as such, felt he needed to be there. However Congressman Richmond says he easily could have made a different choice, because of the negative comments Donald Trump has made about Democratic Congressman John Lewis.
Richmond says going to the swearing-in ceremony will not be to endorse President Trump -- but to honor outgoing President Barack Obama.
