Some of Donald Trump's critics might call it ironic, but Louisiana is looking to the next president to preserve the integrity of its elections.
Secretary of State Tom Schedler is upset that President Obama this month declared elections systems in Louisiana and around the country as 'critical infrastructure.' That designation means the federal government will be involved in securing the elections systems from hacking.
Schedler said Tuesday he's worried that could lead to the federal government nationalizing the elections, and he hopes Trump will undo the declaration.
