If red or blue just aren't the colors for you, maybe you'll look better in purple.
A Republican and a Democrat, last month, established the new Louisiana Independent Party. Republican consultant Pat Bergeron is the party chair while former Clinton/Gore state press secretary Bill Bryan is the treasurer.
The party joins other third parties in the state like the Green, Libertarian and Reform parties.
