Despite political party differences, Governor John Bel Edwards says he's ready to work with the incoming presidential administration.
Governor Edwards says he expects most Trump cabinet members will be confirmed and he "can't wait" to meet with them on issues and projects important to the state.
In particular, the governor says he wants to discuss Medicaid expansion and federal infrastructure projects.
