LSU will have one of its key defensive playmakers back next fall.
Linebacker Whit Weeks announced that he will return to the Tigers in 2026 following an injury-plagued past season.
Weeks started 11 games in 2024 and was named a first-team All-SEC selection after finishing ninth in the nation with 125 tackles.
He suffered a broken ankle in the team's loss to Ole Miss on September 27 and wrapped up this season with 31 tackles and one sack.
