A student in Denham Springs is accused of bringing a gun to school.
Livingston Public Schools received a tip about a student having a handgun at Southside Junior High School on Wednesday morning. A search found an unloaded gun in the student's backpack.
The school district says no threats were made to students or staff on the campus.
