The Office of Special Counsel is recommending the removal of 19th Judicial District Judge Tiffany Foxworth-Roberts from the bench.
The OSC submitted the recommendation to the Judiciary Commission of Louisiana.
If the Commission agrees, the Louisiana State Supreme Court would make the final decision.
Foxworth-Roberts is accused of lying about her prior military service in campaign ads, and about an insurance claim for a diamond ring.
She was elected to the bench in 2020.
