A new nursing instructional site is coming to LSU's Baton Rouge campus this fall.
The new site will offer students the same curriculum as the LSU Health New Orleans' School of Nursing.
Partnerships with Our Lady of the Lake and Woman's Hospital will allow Baton Rouge students to learn in teaching environments that mirror actual hospital units.
LSU aims to have 30 students enrolled in the Baton Rouge program this fall, with plans to expand to 90.
Officials say the program involves three years of full-time study.
