Investigators say the helicopter involved in a deadly crash in New York City belongs to an aviation company in south Louisiana.
The Federal Aviation Administration says the helicopter's tail number was registered with Meridian Helicopters LLC in Broussard.
The helicopter was reportedly carrying some Spanish tourists when it broke apart in midair and crashed upside down in the Hudson River, killing six people.
The crash is still under investigation.
