A Denham Springs robotics team is gearing up for an international competition in Houston.
Students from the Denham Springs Robotics Center call their team the "Denham Venom" and are readying their 120-pound robot for the challenge.
The high schoolers will participate in a game called Reefscape that requires complicated coding and construction.
The team engages in fundraising, since it costs about $125,000 to buy the gear, build the robots, and travel to competitions.
