The Pelicans were crushed on their home court Monday, losing to the Detroit Pistons 127-81 at the Smoothie King Center.
Zion Williamson scored a team-high 30 points in the losing effort.
The team announced after the game that Trey Murphy III will miss the remainder of the season after being diagnosed with a torn labrum and partial tear of the rotator cuff in his right shoulder.
The injury happened after Murphy dislocated his right shoulder during the first quarter.
The Pels have lost seven of eight and sit 14th in the West at 18-and-51. They travel to play the Minnesota Timberwolves tomorrow night.
