DA: Hazing Charges Likely, Homicide Charges Possible In Death Of SU Student

East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney Hillar Moore says hazing charges are likely and homicide charges are possible after the death of a Southern University student.

Caleb Wilson died a week ago after he was punched in the chest in a warehouse during a ceremony of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity. His frat brothers dropped him off at a hospital, where he later died.

The warehouse is leased by several businesses, one of which is owned by Metro Councilman Cleve Dunn Jr. Another is owned by a father and son who are both members of Omega Psi Phi.

Baton Rouge police are investigating the case, and charges are reportedly forthcoming.
