Riders of the Capital Area Transit System are reportedly feeling the effects of the local Transit Union's strike.
As the strike entered its second day on Tuesday, the negotiations made no progress.
Some riders said they were waiting an hour or more for a bus, which sometimes made them late for work.
CATS CEO Theo Richard says supervisors and managers are driving to make up for the 20 to 25 drivers on strike.
The president of the local union chapter says it's more like 60 or 70.
