One of the two candidates for mayor in the breakaway city of St. George is no longer in the running.
Jim Morgan announced on Tuesday that he was dropping out of the race.
As a result, St. George Interim Mayor Dustin Yates wins the seat by default, with no need for an election.
Morgan said he found himself running against "an extremely well-funded opponent," and could already see how things were going to turn out.
