The Pelicans are planning to be without their young star forward for the foreseeable future.

New Orleans big man Zion Williamson is out indefinitely after being diagnosed with a left hamstring strain over the weekend. ESPN reports that Williamson is expected to miss several weeks.

The 24-year-old was injured during last week's loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers and has already missed four games this season.

Williamson is averaging 22.7 points, eight rebounds and 5.3 assists through six games played this season.
