The United Cajun Navy is calling for volunteers to lend a hand while some of their members are still in hurricane-damaged areas in other states.
The nonprofit has three warehouses full of donated goods waiting to be sent to hurricane survivors.
A spokesman says hundreds and maybe thousands of people still need help.
He said volunteers are needed to help sort, pack, and wrap donated items and load them onto trucks that will head into Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina.
