Louisiana Secretary of State Nancy Landry is touring the state to meet with local election officials ahead of the presidential contest.
Landry is gathering suggestions and touting the security and accuracy of elections in Louisiana.
She says Louisiana ranks in the top ten states for election integrity.
Landry says the voting machines are never connected to the Internet, are locked up when not in use, and are programmed and maintained in-house.
November's presidential election will be Landry's first as secretary of state.
