The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating after a truck plowed into a convenience store on Perkins Road over the weekend.
The truck smashed into the front of the Big Boss Convenience Store around 11:30 a.m. on Sunday.
Deputies say the driver told them her brakes had failed. The store owner says the woman is a regular customer.
One store employee was in the back at the time, but nobody was in the store and no injuries were reported.
