Two incumbent East Baton Rouge Parish Metro Council members are now running unopposed after their challengers were disqualified.
Jennifer Racca of District 12 faced a challenge from Joseph Clement, and Cleve Dunn of District 6 was challenged by Corey Smith.
In court hearings last week, both challengers were disqualified for not being current on paying their state income taxes.
Parish election officials say neither challenger filed an appeal within the 24-hour time period that ended on Friday afternoon.
