A duckling is in the hands of a bird wildlife rehabilitator after St. George firefighters rescued it from a drain on Saturday.
A fire crew was returning from a call when they paused to let a family of ducks cross the street. One of the ducklings fell into a drain while its parents and siblings kept moving.
The firefighters got the duckling out of the drain and sent it to wildlife rehab in Lafayette.
