The Marine Corps JROTC program at Walker High School is a big winner after a national competition over the weekend in Pennsylvania.
The cadets competed in the Marine Corps Raider Nationals at Camp Outdoor Odyssey on Friday and Saturday.
School officials announced on Facebook that the Walker kids proved to be 2024's best co-ed Marine Corps Raider team out of more than 230 Marine Corps JROTC programs nationwide.
The Walker team were also the 2024 Louisiana All-Service State Champions.
