The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office is shoring up its security after their network was hacked on Friday.
Cyber investigators believe the hacker was kicked off the network pretty quickly, but not before accessing a small amount of data.
The sheriff's office, including the jail, temporarily shut down network access for computers that had possibly been compromised.
Investigators say they believe the hacker no longer has access to the system. As of Tuesday evening, all the department's systems were working.
