A 56-year-old state trooper is under arrest for allegedly filing improper investigation reports for two separate crashes.
Authorities say Brett Dupre is accused in connection to two citizen complaints for crashes he investigated last April.
Police looked at both incidents and amended the reports, charging the impaired and at-fault drivers who were not taken into custody at the time of the incidents.
Dupre was booked into the St. Tammany Parish Jail on two counts of malfeasance in office and one count of filing false public records.
He was placed on administrative leave at the start of the investigation but retired from the department last August.
