The mayor and chief of police of Baker will both get another term following Saturday's election.
The Louisiana Secretary of State says Mayor Darnell Waites defeated three challengers, and Chief of Police Carl Dunn survived a challenge from Willie Brooks III.
In the Baker City Council elections, Rochelle Dunn won in District 2, and Desiree Collins prevailed in District 3.
Robert Young and Toni Jackson are headed for a runoff election for the District 4 seat.
