A new executive order from Gov. Jeff Landry requires all executive branch heads to add up the costs of illegal immigration in Louisiana.
Landry signed the order on Tuesday, his third executive order since he took office last week.
The order directs the head of every state agency in the executive branch to write a report indicating how much the agency is spending "for the benefit of illegal aliens."
The reports are to be on the governor's desk within 120 days.
