The Green Wave failed to pull off an upset victory on their home court as Tulane lost to #25 Florida Atlantic Thursday, 85-84.
FAU converted two free throws with 1.4-seconds remaining to pull out the win.
Jaylen Forbes led Tulane with 28 points while knocking down five shots from three-point range. Kevin Cross chipped in 20 points in the losing effort.
The Green Wave have lost two in-a-row to slip to 10-5 overall and 1-2 in Sun Belt play.
Tulane will pay a visit to Tulsa on Sunday afternoon. In the New Orleans area, the game will be heard on 104.1 The Spot and the iHeart app.
