Terrence Graves is the new head football coach at Southern University.
Southern University Athletics announced the decision on Tuesday.
Graves was previously named the interim head coach for the rest of the season after Eric Dooley was relieved of his duties, and led the Jaguars to a 27-22 victory over Grambling State in the 50th Bayou Classic.
The Jags ended the season at 6-5.
Graves will be the school's 21st football head coach.
