The Baton Rouge Police Department is facing another lawsuit.
The federal case filed last week accuses former officer Troy Lawrence, Jr. of using excessive force during an arrest in August.
The lawsuit claims Lawrence tased a man that was already handcuffed and being fully compliment.
Lawrence resigned from the department later that month and faces a charge of simple battery.
The man is seeking $750,000.
