A Baton Rouge doctor is pleading guilty to tax evasion.
Federal officials said Dr. Melissa Barrett submitted false forms to the IRS, including an inaccurate report of her assets.
Barrett also reportedly used cash stored in a safe to buy assets including a plane, a boat, and thousands of acres of land.
She faces up to five years in prison.
