A suspected car thief is in custody after leading Baton Rouge police on a short chase on Sunday.
Officers tried to stop a stolen Hyundai on North 22nd Street near I-110.
The suspect refused to pull over, and the chase headed down River Road to L'Auberg Casino, where the driver and his passenger bailed out and ran for it.
Police arrested the driver, identified as 19-year-old Michael Hollins, on charges of auto theft, resisting an officer, flight from an officer, property damage, and aggravated assault.
The passenger is at large.
