Two drivers are in the hospital after one of them caused an accident on Tuesday afternoon while fleeing from police.
Baton Rouge Police detectives were in a neighborhood trying to gather information about the Nathan Millard case.
As they approached a house, a man in a nearby white car sped away.
Before police could give chase, the man reportedly ran a stop sign at the corner of Terrace Avenue and Napoleon Street and crashed into another car.
He and the woman driving the other car were hospitalized with minor injuries.
