The Louisiana Department of Revenue will start accepting 2022 individual state income tax returns on Monday, the same day the IRS will begin accepting federal income tax returns.
Taxpayers can file their state returns electronically through Louisiana File Online, the state's free web portal for individual tax filers.
Louisiana taxpayers may also make use of commercially available tax preparation software or send in printed state returns available online at the Louisiana Department of Revenue's web site.
