French president Emmanuel Macron will visit New Orleans on Friday.
Macron plans to meet with Gov. John Bel Edwards and tour the French Quarter. It's not clear as to whether Mayor LaToya Cantrell will be included.
Macron will first spend two days in Washington, D.C. meeting with President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris and attending a state dinner at the White House.
Macron will be the third French president to visit the city, following Charles de Gaulle in 1960 and Valery Giscard d'Estaing in 1976.
