The Southwestern Athletic Conference is suspending 21 Southern University and Prairie View A&M players after a pregame fight on Saturday, October 8.
The conference on Monday announced the one-game suspensions of 11 student-athletes from Southern and ten from Prairie View for their involvement in the brawl.
The conference office also fined Southern $7,500 and fined Prairie View $10,000.
