New Orleans Pelicans executive vice president of basketball operations David Griffin on Monday confirmed on Monday that the team and star shooting guard CJ McCollum have agreed to a two-year contract extension reportedly worth $64 million.
The deal ties the 31-year-old to the Pelicans for a total of four years and $133 million.
The extension aligns the length of McCollum's contract length with those of his teammates Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson.
The Pelicans acquired McCollum from Portland in a trade in February.
