Hundreds of thousands of student loan borrowers in Louisiana are eligible for loan forgiveness.
New numbers from the White House show more than 600,000 state residents will get debt relief.
The Biden Administration announced the forgiveness plan last month, offering up to $10,000 for borrowers earning less than $125,000 a year, and up to $20,000 for those who received Pell Grants.
