The man who killed LSU basketball star Wayde Sims is dead.
The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office says Dyteon Simpson was found unresponsive in his cell last night.
It's believed the 23-year-old passed away from a Fentanyl overdose.
Simpson was sentenced to life in prison last week a few months after being convicted of second-degree murder in Sims' 2018 killing.
