Starting today, crews will conduct a routine inspection of the I-10 Mississippi River Bridge in Baton Rouge.
Weather permitting, the inspections will take place from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. today through Saturday, July 30th.
There will be brief lane closures twice a day, morning and afternoon, that should last less than 15 minutes
These inspections take place every two years to make sure the bridge is still structurally sound enough to carry more than 100,000 vehicles a day.
