A man and woman are in custody after their arrests on Thursday on suspicion of stealing catalytic converters.
Baton Rouge police arrested Matthew Gibson, 39, and Brooke Gibson, 34, who are believed to be involved in a catalytic converter theft ring in East Baton Rouge Parish. Officers say they confiscated more than 100 stolen catalytic converters.
They also seized heroin, LSD, crystal meth, and prescription drugs.
The Gibsons are charged with possession of stolen goods, contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, possession of drug paraphernalia, and other charges.
