Foul play is reportedly not suspected in the sudden death of 19th Judicial District Judge Christopher Dassau over the weekend.
Baker Police Department officers found Dassau dead inside his home on Sunday.
They were making a welfare check at the request of his family, who couldn't get him on the phone.
When officers didn't get a response to knocking on the door, they called the fire department to help them get into the house.
The cause of Dassau's death is not yet known.
