Villa Del Rey Elementary is moving to an all-virtual learning model.
School officials announced that they transitioned to virtual learning due to staff shortages and out of "an abundance of caution."
According to reports, the caution comes after several employees tested positive for COVID-19 following Thanksgiving break.
Officials say while students continue learning from home, Villa Del Rey will be closed to the public for deep cleaning.
It's unclear when the school will reopen again.
