A local school is shutting down after experiencing a coronavirus outbreak.
The East Baton Rouge Parish School System announced that it has Park Elementary School due to an outbreak of COVID-19.
According to reports, both students and staff have since transitioned to virtual learning.
The district says they intend to resume in-person learning on Monday, November 30. In the meantime, the facility will be closed to the public for cleaning.
