The Baton Rouge Police Department has identified the suspect wanted for assaulting an Southern University student.
BRPD says the female student-athlete was walking in the 2800 block of Dalrymple Drive just before 7 p.m. Monday when the male suspect punched her in the chest and verbally assaulted her before reportedly running away from the area.
Authorities have released a photo of the suspect online and ask anyone with information regarding his identity to contact the Major Assaults Division or Crime Stoppers.
