EBR School System Launches Online Survey For Renaming Lee High

The East Baton Rouge Parish school system is introducing an online survey for renaming Robert E. Lee High School.

The board announced the launch of the survey yesterday and invites anyone who would like to offer input for renaming the school.

Residents who would like to participate are asked to visit the board's website to submit their suggestions.

The survey comes less than a week after the school board voted unanimously to change the name of the school, currently named after the Confederate general of the same name.
