City-Parish government buildings are gearing up to officially reopen tomorrow.
In anticipation of the reopening, Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome visited officials at government buildings yesterday to encourage all city-parish staff to follow safety precautions outlined by the CDC and state officials.
During her visits to the Juvenile Services Center, and the Division of Human Development and Services, Mayor Broome encouraged staff to watch a special video prepared by city officials where an EMS doctor explains the risk levels in various types on contact in the workplace.
Officials say city-parish buildings will be required to follow all restrictions outlined in Governor John Bel Edwards' Phase One reopening plan, including capping capacity at 25% inside buildings.
