Sheriff's deputies have recaptured an attempted murder suspect after a standoff that lasted four hours.
The suspect, 20-year-old Cecil Williams, had escaped from Our Lady of the Lake Hospital early yesterday morning.
A family member tipped off deputies that Williams was at a home near Choctaw Drive and Scenic Highway.
He held off deputies for four hours before he surrendered.
Williams is charged with attempted first-degree murder, aggravated kidnapping and armed robbery in an incident last month.
