A teenager is facing charges after allegedly committing multiple armed robberies near LSU.
Police say they arrested Lawrenceen Wheeler yesterday after he was identified as the suspect in a string of reported armed robberies.
According to officials, Wheeler robbed two women at gunpoint in the 500-block of Jennifer Jean Avenue on February 8th and stole from a male victim in the 700-block of Ben Hur Drive later that day.
The 18-year-old has been charged with two counts of armed robbery, simple burglary, aggravated kidnapping and attempted crime.
